2007-2010  9-12 Teacher-Librarian, Old Bridge Township Board of Education

Increased circulation three fold at GNC.  Ran book clubs for both students and teachers.   Facilitated technology resources for curriculum departments.     Certified Verizon Thinkfinity trainer.  Technology support coordinator OBHS.   Each school year provide faculty in-service workshops in use of various software products and resources.

 

2000-2007  K-5 Teacher-Librarian, Old Bridge Township Board of Education

Sponsored Brain Quest assembly and competition.  Hosted Breakfast with Books for staff at   Madison Park School.  Coordinated activities for “Read Across America” reading incentive program.  Cooperatively worked with PTA in sponsoring Book Fair.  Doubled the circulation of books and magazines at Madison Park School.  Created library website for Schirra School. Received grant for Listening Library to promote literacy skills for E.S.L. students.  Received grant to promote reading at Madison Park School.

 

1992-2000   Teacher, Old Bridge Township Board of Education

First and third grade teacher at Schirra and Grissom Elementary Schools.  Facilitator at evening parent workshop on study skills at Grissom School.  Facilitator for FANS and Family Math Workshops at Schirra School.  Grant recipient to run Math Olympics at Schirra School.  Raised money running Math Olympiads for St. Jude Hospital and Ronald McDonald House.

 

1978-1992  Manager of Information Processing, LS Software Systems, Lakewood, NJ

Responsibilities included liaison between system analyst and user of  manufacturing software.  Trained office personnel on the use of software.  Acted as on-site programmer to meet the immediate needs of clients.
